Q&M Dental Group has opened its biggest facility to date, Q&M Dental Centre, at City Square Mall in Singapore.

The Q&M Dental Centre is among the first local private dental practices applying to become an accredited learning centre under the Ministry of Health offering training to dental practitioners.

With the aim to continue raising the bar for the local dentistry profession, as well as to strengthen the country’s reputation as a regional dental hub, the Ministry of Health is reviewing options to implement an accreditation scheme that allows private dental practices to apply towards becoming a centre of advanced training for dental professionals.

The Q&M Dental Centre is among the pioneering batch of private dental establishments to step up for accreditation. As an accredited centre for training, Q&M will be able to offer advance training to local practitioners who are keen to improve their skills in certain areas such as CAD/CAM, Implantology and Cone Beam 3D Radiography.

Under this scheme, foreign dental professionals are allowed to retain employment with their respective employers while still enrolled on the training programme with the centre. Dental professionals must fulfil a set of criteria before they can apply for training under this new scheme.

Set up at a cost of S$3 million, Q&M’s Dental Centre occupies a total floor area of over 12,000 square feet with 32 private consultation rooms.
